PERE VENTURA Gran Vintage stands out in Switzerland
PERE VENTURA Gran Vintage Paraje Calificado, introduced to 35 opinion leaders and journalists of the wine and gastronomy industry from Switzerland, Austria and Germany, in an exclusive event hosted by the top award-winner professionals Andreas Caminada (Chef 3 * Michelin), Jordi Cruz (Chef 3 * Michelin) and David Schwarzwälder (Golden Nose Award)
PERE VENTURA has participated as an official sponsor in an exclusive event organized by the Spanish Embassy in Bern -on behalf of ICEX-, Switzerland, aimed at pairing Spanish excellence in wines and gastronomy with Swiss excellence in cuisine. The event has taken place last November the 15th in the Schloss Schauenstein restaurant in Fürstenau and has brought together a selected number of attendees who have had the opportunity to taste high quality products such as the Cava Pere Ventura Gran Vintage Paraje Calificado.

The event has been hosted by the top award-winner professionals Andreas Caminada (Chef 3 * Michelin), Jordi Cruz (Chef 3 * Michelin) and David Schwarzwälder (Golden Nose Award). The Schloss Schauenstein, managed by Andreas Caminada, owes three Michelin stars, has been selected Best European restaurant Top 100+ by Opinionated About Dining (OAD), and ranks place 47 in the list of 50 Best World restaurants. This unique place has brought together 35 key wine and gastronomy opinion leaders and journalists from Switzerland, Austria and Germany who have had the opportunity to learn about the excellence of cava, wines, foods and gastronomy from our country.
The programme has been divided in two master classes and a Michelin star lunch. Hereby, the Golden Nose Award David Schwarzwälder conducted a seminar and tasting on spanish wines. A complete workshop on the category Cava de Paraje followed, with the presentation and tasting of the Pere Ventura Gran Vintage. The Cava de Paraje Calificado has also been paired with iberian top quality ham.
Jordi Cruz (catalan chef with 3* Michelin at ABAC restaurant in Barcelona) and Andreas Caminada (sweedish chef also owing 3* Michelin and owner of the Schloss Schauenstein restaurant) prepared the menu together of the lunch that ended up the special event.
