Pere Ventura takes on a prominent role as a sponsor in the final phase of the “Race to Parthenon” last November 17 in Madrid, a university competition designed to bring university students closer to the professional reality through a real case study.
The headquarters of the renowned global strategic consulting firm EY Parthenon in Madrid, the organizing entity of the event, was the epicenter of the final round of the competition. The best university students from prestigious business schools such as ESADE, Deusto, Comillas, UFV, and Loyola participated.
In this year’s edition, almost 300 students from business, engineering, and technical careers gathered to address the challenging case study: an investment fund seeking opportunities in the wine market in Spain.
During the event, Pere Ventura also joined a roundtable discussion where the challenges and perspectives of the wine market were debated. The roundtable featured the participation of prominent experts, including José Luís Benítez, CEO of the Spanish Wine Federation, along with other representatives and entrepreneurs from the wine industry.
The winning team of the “Race to Parthenon” was from ESADE, who will enjoy a private experience at Pere Ventura’s wineries as part of their well-deserved final prize.
With this collaboration, Pere Ventura reinforces his commitment to values such as effort, courage, and the spirit of overcoming challenges, while expressing his support for the new generations, promoting not only academic excellence but also the effective connection between higher education and the dynamic and ever-evolving business world.
