Can Bas La Capella 2016 wine has obtained the Grand Gold medal in the red wine category of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, one of the most prestigious international competitions in the world of wine.
Can Bas La Capella 2016 has competed among more than 7,500 wines from all over the world and has been the only wine from Catalonia to achieve this recognition in this edition.
Can Bas La Capella 2016 has been assessed by a group of more than three hundred expert tasters of different nationalities with the same aim: “to distinguish those wines whose quality is beyond reproach, without prejudice to the information on the wine label or the prestige of the denomination to which it belongs.
The Grand Gold medal that Can Bas La Capella 2016 has obtained is the highest distinction that this competition awards to a wine in its category, thus positioning Penedès as one of the leading wine regions worldwide in the production of high-quality wines .
Added to this result is the gold medal that the team of tasters of the Contest has awarded to the wines of the same winery: Can Bas D’Origen P9 2019 and Can Bas La Romana 2019. Thus, the wines of the winery accumulate today more than 60 awards and recognitions nationally and internationally.
Can Bas Domini Vinícola (DO Penedès) is part of the Pere Ventura Family Wine Estates group, together with Pere Ventura (DO Cava) and Mervm Priorati (DOQ Priorat) wineries.
