Great performance of our PERE VENTURA sparkling wines in the latest edition of Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2023 held in Naples.
Precisely, Pere Ventura Vintage 2016, Pere Ventura Tresor Cuvée Barrique 2018, Pere Ventura Tresor Rosé and Pere Ventura Primer have obtained Gold Medal in the Sparkling category of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, one of the most prestigious international competitions in the world of wine.
Our award-winning sparkling wines were choosen among nearly 1000 sparkling wines from 25 different countries worldwine. Pere Ventura sparkling wines have been assessed by a group of more than 50 expert tasters of different nationalities with the same aim: “to distinguish those wines whose quality is beyond reproach, without prejudice to the information on the wine label or the prestige of the denomination to which it belongs”. Thirty years experience have enabled the competition to become a benchmark amongst international wine contests.
It will come as no surprise but Cava, particularly its Penedès iterations from South of Barcelona, tops the awards list for Spain, where Pere Ventura wines representation stands out for being of the most exclusive and award-winning cellar not only in Spain but at an international level. Thus, Pere Ventura Vintage 2016 has recently scored 95 points at Decanter World Wine Awards, one of the most prestigious competitions of wine worldwide.
The award-winning cavas from PERE VENTURA, precisely Pere Ventura Tresor Cuvée Barrique 2018 and Pere Ventura Vintage 2016 are long aged cava between three and five years, made with natural yeasts and spontaneous fermentations, some of the characteristic features that make a difference in PERE VENTURA sparkling wines.
