PERE VENTURA, TOP 100 WINERY OF THE YEAR

PERE VENTURA has been selected as a World Top Winery for its outstanding performance in Wine & Spirits blind-tastings this year. Winery founder and owner Pere Ventura has expressed his pride in receiving this recognition, which follows the line of the distinctions that the Group is obtaining consistently in all contests and public presentations.

In Pere Ventura’s words, “Being in the World’s Top 100 highlights our commitment towards excellence and the consumer. Being the only Spanish Cava producer selected by Wine & Spirits, PERE VENTURA shares positioning with wineries of the standing of R. López de Heredia, Vega Sicilia, E. Guigal, Penfolds, Champagne Bollinger and Krug, just to mention a few.

The Wine & Spirits panel and critics yearly blind taste more than 11,000 wines from around the world, presenting a selection of the most distinctive. Being included in the Top 100 Wineries means having wines rated with the highest scores and the most consistent showing throughout the year. These are recognized in the magazine’s annual Top 100 Wineries of the year issue that will be released mid October.

As editor of Wine & Spirits Magazine Joshua Greene announced through press release last September 20th “We took a different approach to our tasting this year by focusing on specific regions and delving deeper into them. Our concentrated tastings led to fiercer competition among the great wines of the world to earn a spot in our Top 100”.

PERE VENTURA will be present at the 16th Annual Wine & Spirits Top 100 Tasting event on Thursday, October 10th, at City View at METREON in San Francisco. This is an exclusive event organized by Wine & Spirits to showcase the Top 100 Wineries. PERE VENTURA, amongst Wine & Spirits 2019 highly recommended sparklers

This news comes after Wine & Spirits Summer Special unvealed PERE VENTURA Cava amongst its 2019 Best Top Sparklers and Best Buys. VINTAGE ROSÉ Gran Reserva Brut 2014 is considered the Best Cava of the year with 94 points, followed shortly after by VINTAGE Gran Reserva Brut 2014 with outstanding 93 points. TRESOR RESERVA 2016 and TRESOR ROSÉ are highlighted as Best Buys with 91 and 90 points respectively.
