Can Bas explores a new cinematographic wine universe through a double feature at Most Festival 2017

The Estate wines of Can Bas will be presented at Most Festival’s double feature next Saturday at VINSEUM, the Wine Museum of Catalonia

‘Sour Grapes’ (The United Kingdom, 2015) and ‘Setembro a vida inteira’ (Portugal, 2017) will be the centre of all attentions, together with the wine tasting of Can Bas Domini Vinicola Estate wines next Saturday 11 at two sessions 05:00pm and 07:00pm. Both documentary projections are part of the International Wine & Cava Film Festival on its 7th edition hold every year in the Penedès and Priorat wine areas.

Sour Grapes documentary is described as a unique piece ‘about the fine and rare wine auction market centering around a counterfeiter who befriended the rich and powerful and sold millions of dollars of fraudulent wine through the top auction houses’ and directed by Reuben Atlas, Jerry Rothwell.

Likewise, ‘Setembro a vida inteira’ (A whole life of September) “invites the viewer to embark on a journey through the intimacy of vineyards, cellars and souls, unveiling passions, crimes and adventures. A universal theme with the local alchemy. But this cinematographic documentary is also about passion, freedom and faith, inviting to reflect about the human nature and the relationship between landowners and those who work the land. Because nothing else ferments like a good story, wine people are the passport to understand Portugal.”

After both projections the participants will enjoy a glass of one of the best Estate wines of Can Bas whom will be individually presented. Tickets for the event can be purchased online.
